The two-day CII Global Summit on Skill Development in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India was an event of national significance. As partner country, Switzerland was well represented by both dignitaries, governmental bodies and private actors in the field of skill development. Mauro Dell’Ambroglio, Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) and Dr. Dinesh Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, addressed the audience before inaugurating the Swiss Pavilion at the exhibition ground. Dr. Andreas Baum, Ambassador of Switzerland to India and Bhutan, accompanied by Buhler, Lausanne Hospitality Consulting, Rieter and SFIVET presented their training programs to the audience.
